I’ve been cruising around on craigslist looking for a new oven for the farmhouse. I’ve found these other treasures, which we don’t need and can’t afford, but i thought they were worth sharing in case someone did…

Isn't this gorgeous? One day I want this couch in my livingroom....Ben can take the leather one and put it in the office!

I am actually emailing the lady about this one. Charming, isn't it?

ok, i admit, i emailed this one too, but mostly out of curiosity. i just thought it was so lovely and if they still have it and really want to get rid of it, maybe i can convince Ben this would be perfect for our formal living room, right?

Ha! I was just reading this post when your plea for help arrived in my e-mail inbox.
You’re making me brave enough to put out my own plea. I’m sure I could find a good freezer on Craigslist, but of course delivery would be an issue. It’s so hard to ask for help…thanks for setting a good example for me! :)
It’s the green one and she’s willing to take $50 for it! At first, she said she couldn’t drop below $75 and understandably so because it’s in perfect condition. But I told her if she reconsidered I could it have it outta there by Sunday. She called back 10 minutes later and accepted the offer. SCORE! Poor Ben won’t know what hit him. I’m on the way to the store to get some money out of my debit because Ben absconded with all the cash. :-) Hopefully I can find some man power to pick it up for me. I know it’s a bit extravagant, but I love these couches and I really do think our leather one would look better in the office.
Craiglist really is a blessing. I’ve seen several freezers in this area. I bet you could find someone who could bring it out to you, especially with the promise of dinner or something.
If y’all decide the leather wouldn’t work in the office, it’d work just fine at my house. ;-P
Oh, I love that stove.
