Still Checking off My Checklist
Charles will be here on Tuesday late afternoon to get the house on the market. Today is absolute insanity! Ben is at work preparing for school to start (TOMORROW! sheesh!) and I am trying to get things done around the house. So far, I’ve only created 2 unwanted holes in the wall today finishing up our window hardware! Too bad I don’t have any plumbing handy friends who want to spend their holiday fixing a couple problems around my house, huh? I am taking this moment to drink some water and try and reclaim my sanity.

Still need to buy:
- working vacuum
- plants
- bed skirts for queen bed in master and Ophelia’s twin in nursery.
- art
- more method air fresheners (guy downstairs smokes the worst smelling cigars ever!)
And I also need to contact our property management about how icky and smelly the foyer in our building is.

I’m hoping that you won’t be there long enough to accumulate gunk on those cookbooks! It looks like you are making some amazing progress towards being show ready – well done! Love you
Regarding the bed skirts – I bought a red silk one at Bed Bath and Beyond for $10 (super clearance). Only problem was that it was a King, and we have a Queen, but I put a pleat down through the whole middle of the thing and it works perfectly. I couldn’t have made it for that price. So if you find any that are too big, keep in mind that you can tailor them to fit if it’s a good deal!
